About

Hi! I’m Morgan Reece, wife of the most amazing man on the planet (he loves me!), mother of six, and follower of Jesus Christ.
After over 25 years in full-time ministry, God led my husband and me to move to Oklahoma. He has also led me to begin this blog.

My Story wD 1200

Over the years, I have had many opportunities to share mutual encouragement with other women who, like me, are seeking to follow Jesus Christ in their daily lives.

Late nights. Early mornings. Health issues. Financial pressure. Marriage issues. Children. Homeschooling. Responsibilities. Ministry. Always more to do than hours in the day. It’s easy to get too busy for God, too busy for family, too busy…

My mission is to help busy women learn how to win in their Christian life, and experience the abundance that Jesus promised.

To that end, I write about knowing God, marriage, ministry, and strategies to simplify daily cares to make more time for what matters. You can find out more on my Start Here page.

My goal is to produce inspiring, relevant content that you can put to work in your life of faith. If you consider yourself a believer — a disciple of Christ who longs to really KNOW Him—then this blog is for you.

I plan to post three times a week, occasionally more. To make sure you don’t miss my newest posts, you can subscribe via e-mail. It’s quick, easy, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

My Story

I was raised in a church-going family, and for that I am truly thankful. Taught from an early age to respect and believe the Bible, I  nevertheless had “a form of godliness [while] denying the power thereof.”

Happily, while attending VA Tech, I finally understood the gospel and cried out for God to save and change me through faith in Christ. Back then, it was very common for my friends at church to ask newcomers, “Do you know Jesus?” At the time, I thought what a strange question it was, for although I was confident of my salvation, I did not feel I really “knew” the Lord very well. That was over thirty years ago, and while I have definitely not “arrived,” I can testify that knowing Christ is truly an on-going process that is to be embraced, no matter the cost.

My Family

I have been married to my husband, Dennis, for twenty-two years. We have three daughters and three sons. We live in the outskirts of Stillwater, Oklahoma.

In my free time, I enjoy reading, singing and composing music, writing books, and cooking nutritious, delicious food for my family. We are active members of Bible Baptist Church here in Stillwater.

My Colophon

My blog is built on WordPress. I use the Tesseract Theme, a free  WordPress theme from Tyler Moore.

For blog hosting, I recommend BlueHost. It is easy-to-use, reliable, and inexpensive, and the only host I found that prohibits profanity. Their reputation for 24-7 support is excellent. It is the only hosting service I personally recommend.
